We’re back out West of Ireland way again this week with more new images from Peter.

The light is just so changeable in these parts and the landscape is really diversified. Seascapes, lakes, mountains. It’s all abundant out West.

Get right out West and amongst some of Ireland’s finest natural beauty. This workshop takes in a great mix of seascapes, lakes, and mountains. Our focus on this workshop will be on the wild seascapes of Co Mayo from Downpatrick Head to Achill Island. Locations right on the edge of the Atlantic. Plus Connemara with such an abundance of lakes and rivers with great mountain backdrops. Don’t forget Co Clare for 2 days to photograph the stunning Cliffs of Moher, Loop Head, and the Burren.

Nothing quite like the West of Ireland for changeable light. Just when I thought I was out they pulled me back in. Breakfast was calling and there was a definite expectation of bacon in the air. First comes the rain, then comes the rainbow, and lastly of course comes the bacon.

Gone fishing .. Connemara, Ireland

The beaches in the West of Ireland can be so clean. The sand can be just immaculate and the colour of the water can really glow. The moody skies will help too.

As the night reclines. The always stunning Doo Lough in County Mayo. I’ve numerous versions of images from this great location so I thought why not process this one with a bit more drama?
