Stunning Morocco

Morocco is a country with a rich tapestry of landscapes and cultural experiences, making it a fantastic subject for photography. Daragh Muldowney has been busy editing Morocco images from our 2023 adventure and as always Daragh has delivered some stunners – check them out below

If you are interested in exploring and capturing the essence of Morocco with Daragh Muldowney in 2024, check out our Morocco workshop 2024. Drop us a line with any questions you might have. We hope you enjoy what follows and maybe we will see you in Morocco in 2024.

The empty red expanse is amazingly beautiful with the right light and some really simple elements.

Step into blue – doors and courtyards line up perfectly in this composition in the blue city of Chefchaouen.

A rare treat to find ourselves inside a sand storm on arriving in Merzouga. The dunes were inaccesible but incredible to walk amongst the sand blowing everywhere….sunglasses and protective case for camera were needed!

Sand Abstract 5. The infinite and beautiful dunes of Merzouga. Light, shapes and shadows in harmony.

Sand Abstract 3 – The infinite and beautiful dunes of Merzouga.

At the Hassan Tower in Rabat. A 12th century monument. A busy place with locals and tourists alike. I loved the yellow colours against the pillar patterns.

Clean blue skies, a lighthouse in Rabat and the Moroccan flag – a great combination.

Sand Abstract 1. The infinite and beautiful dunes of Merzouga.

A return to Kasbah Telouet – this time with a different guide. The light in this room was fantastic again.

Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca – we arrived and the mosque still had its night lights but just as we got our cameras out the lights on the mosque turned off…this gave it a surreal look with it in darkness and the surrounding buildings lit up!

A long exposure detail of an old wall and lookout at the Rabat lighthouse.
