Many moons ago Ed and Peter Gordon chatted post-dinner in a Dublin carpark about the possibility of selling their work together. The motivation – a mutual love of the landscape and a desire to reach a wider audience with their collective bodies of work. They continue to display their work collectively through ExploreLight.com and make sure to lead a number of workshops together per year too. Ed was Peter’s mentor and instrumental in the development of Peter’s work and the workshops business at large. He’s famous for his sense of humour and a great companion and instructor to have onboard on any trip.
Most recently Ed has returned to his roots and his love of black and white photography with some stunning new imagery. “It’s been more than 20 years now since I gave up my day job to immerse myself fully in my photography. All of my images are captured in-camera, single shot or multiple exposures. Post-processing using Joel Tjintjelaar’s ArtisanProX to effect light intensities and tones that allow me to manifest my vision” Ed’s work has been published in various magazines including Photo Art International and Outdoor Photographer. I have also undertaken various Numerous radio and TV appearances.
